Join Colleen Rowan Kosinski at the Chesapeake Children's Book Festival which will be held Saturday, June 16th, 2018 in Easton, MD. This year's festival will move to the Waterfowl Building (the former armory) on Harrison St. They will be holding the festival in conjunction with Talbot County's Juneteenth Celebration. 2018 has been declared the official 200th anniversary of the birth of Frederick Douglass, born in Talbot County, and this year's event will honor him.

They will be hosting over 30 children's book authors and illustrators for the third annual event. Visitors will be able to meet some of their favorite authors and purchase signed books at a discount, courtesy of Eventful Giving and our generous sponsors.

They will also have music, crafts, food and chances to win signed books and other prizes.
