    It’s been quite some time…

...but I intend to be more vigilent in tending to my blog. Now, if I could only make this promise to my garden.   I've been working on three novels. Two are finished but not as polished as I would like them to be. Book 1 is being read by a new beta reader. Book 2 is being read by hubby. Book 3 is being developed using a method called the snowflake method. This method is very structured (so not me) and my husband (the engineer) loves it. He's walking me through so that I don't hop over the parts that bore me. We'll see how it works. So far, with his help, it seems to be going well.On Kristen Nelson's blog, she announced that vampires and werewolves are out. Boo, since Book 1 is a werewolf theme---hopefully it is different enough to garner attention.coll

    I’ve returned…

December was quite a month. The stomach virus had us dropping like flies. I've been revising my book Seventh Son and working on my WIP. Most of my beta readers have given me their words of wisdom and I think this book may be a winner. It's exciting to see on line friend's books actually on bookshelves or about to be. I can't wait to join their ranks! Hope everyone had a wonderful holiday---void of sickness. Coll

    Excited…

I'm so excited about my new WIP. I'd written a rough outline. Worked for a bit following it, then BAM! While waiting for my haircut appointment, I got this new plotline idea that blows my mind. Something new (or not widely known) about a much talked about subject. I guess a novel twist. I can't wait to incorporate it! Coll

    The end…

I finally wrote those magical words for my WIP. I know it's not ready to go out and needs a lot of polishing but I'm excited. I ended it with an epilogue leaving even myself thinking "Oh, I want to know what happens in the next book." Of course, I haven't worked that out yet but I think it will be cool. Coll

    This weekend…

...we bought three new book shelves. I'm so excited. All my fiction books will find a home in them and be put in alphabetical order by author's last name. Much more organized than various piles throughout the house! Yesterday was a very good writing day. I had lost some enthusiasm for my WIP but it is now renewed. coll
